[At first he thinks he’s in a sewer tunnel, which makes no sense because Raph is the sleepwalker, not him. Klunk slinks around his legs, and he picks him up absent-mindedly and sets him on his shoulder, looking around. No side tunnels. Okay. He picks a direction and starts walking.
After a few minutes, he starts jogging. Then running. He can feel Klunk digging his claws into his bare shoulder, struggling to stay on, but he hardly notices. This definitely isn’t a sewer. This probably isn’t even New York. He’s got bigger problems than wandering back home a few minutes late for practice, embarrassed at doing something so weird. He reaches an access ladder and stops, breathing hard. It’s a relief for Klunk’s claws to ease their way out of his skin. Calm down. Take stock.
He doesn’t have his cell phone with him, or his chucks, or any of his gear for that matter; which, now that he thinks about it, is a bit weird, because he thought he remembered just kind of passing out last night after they got home and made sure Donnie was comfortable. Raph was going to take first watch, and then wake him up around four in the morning so he could get some sleep. So whatever happened did so despite Raph’s vigilance. That’s a little chilling.]
Well, Klunkers. [Panic makes his voice high.] Looks like we’re not in Kansas anymore.
[Mike stares at his cat. He could have sworn that “mew” sounded like… No, Klunk is not a talking cat. That’s stupid. Attend to the task at hand. Focus, Mikey.
It’s night. Mike slips out of the tunnel and ghosts through town, noting the strangeness of the architecture and the streets. Not New York City, maybe not even New York. Maybe not even America. He doesn’t let himself get mentally further away from home than that. He reaches the edge of town and slips into the forest. City ninja he may be, but there are less humans in a wilderness areas, and he can survive in the woods just fine. Klunk doesn’t make a sound.]
((OOC: Sorry townies, your time will come, but for now you’re pretty much not going to see him as he slips through cover of darkness and into the forest. You forest-dwellers, on the other hand: now is your chance to interact with someone new. He’ll still be wary, but he’ll be on the lookout for human shapes. Non-humaniods have the best chance of
scaring the shell off him speaking to him. Finding his brothers will come next post, so feel free not to help him back to town. Please note, he left his journal behind in the tunnel, so he will not have it with him.))
